Loyalty Bonus

At a board meeting, the volunteer board of directors of the credit union showed their appreciation for our loyal member-owners. The loyalty bonus based on the success of 2015 was distributed earlier this month after board approval. The board and staff encourage member-owners to get involved in making 2016 another successful year for the credit union so that the membership can share in that success through another loyalty bonus.

Thanks to our loyal member-owners, the credit union had a strong year in 2015. Since the credit union is owned by the members, member participation was the reason for the credit union’s success. To share in that success, on February 8, 2016 we distributed a loyalty bonus of $1.8 Million to members with the relationships that contribute to that success. Qualifying members1 received bonuses ranging from $50 to $375 based on the following:

 Primary Borrower on 1 Consumer Loan2 $50
 Primary Borrower on 2 Consumer Loans2 $125
Primary Owner of Active Checking Account1 $50
Primary Borrower on Credit Union Held Mortgage2 $100
Primary Owner of Term Share Account or IRA with checking account relationship $25

How can you help?

If you’re happy with your credit union and you know it, tell a friend. As a loyal member-owner of the credit union you can help by taking advantage of all the credit union has to offer (refer to your owner’s manual) and encouraging others who qualify to become member-owners of the credit union to get involved.

All we ask is that you share the good news with your family, friends and coworkers who are eligible to become member-owners of the credit union so that we can continue the success of our financial cooperative. Share how happy you are about being a member-owner of your credit union and how rewarding it can be.

1Qualifying members must be primary members (primary share account owner), be 18 years and older and in good standing with the credit union at the time of bonus calculation. All calculations were made using 12/31/2015 data. Future loyalty bonuses will be dependent on several fiscal factors, include different criteria and require board approval. 2Must be primary borrower to qualify. Co-borrowers do not qualify. Active checking account is defined as a checking account with direct deposit and/or at least one monthly deposit.
