Gulf Coast Educators FCU Announces 2025 Scholarship Recipients

Pasadena, TX, April 30, 2025: On April 30, 2025, Gulf Coast Educators FCU announced their 2025 scholarship recipients. The following students were selected as recipients of this scholarship award:
Ethan Mendoza Vazquez – Pasadena ISD
Ashley Blair – Deer Park ISD
Cameron Goodman – Alvin ISD
Lorena Adams – Pasadena ISD
Gulf Coast Educators FCU awards scholarships annually in the amount of $1,000 per semester for four years - a total of $8,000 goes to four qualifying students selected from applicants within their field of membership. This year the credit union received several applications from high school seniors all over the state of Texas.
To qualify for the scholarship, the applicant must have been a graduating high school senior for the 2024-2025 school year. Applicants were also required to be a GCEFCU member in good standing, along with their parent/guardian. Two scholarships were awarded to students pursuing a degree in the field of education, and the other two to applicants outside the teaching field.
Since 1992, Gulf Coast Educators FCU has awarded more than $452,000 in scholarships to deserving graduating seniors.
